SAFETY PROGRAM
Safety is our first priority. Considering what is at stake – our employees’ lives and livelihoods – nothing less than a full commitment to their health, safety and training will do.
Phoenix Pipelines was one of the first to implement a drug test and safety program, taking it seriously long before it became fashionable to do so.
- Each employee receives a pre employment physical and background check
- Safety committee includes VP and field personnel
- Certified OSHA 500 trainer on staff
- All Subcontractors are prequalified for safety and performance before work commences
EMPLOYEE TRAINING
Our Safety Program Includes:
- Weekly Toolbox Talks specific to our industry given by experienced foremen.
- Extensive safety training prior to and during employment.
- OSHA 30 – OSHA 10 – First Aide/CPR – Excavation Awareness Defensive Driving – Competent Person – Confined Space Entry
- Written Fleet Program, Driver Qualification, MVR Evaluation.
- Phoenix Pipelines has developed in hours, on-going operational skill training and education for all levels of field personnel to enhance our safety and quality performance.
- All Phoenix Pipelines foreman and Senior Field Management have received training as Dust Control Supervisors to better understand the challenges faced by our clients.
